Hey guys.

I have a seed that germinated very nicely. I planted it today and watered it in. I'm going to be careful that I don't overwater EVER AGAIN.

The other seed did not seem to have germinated and so I was going to throw it away UNTIL i looked carefully and saw that the seed had JUST cracked. Almost threw away a good seed (whew)

I tried to make sure that i plant in the correct orientation this time but i dropped it into the hole i made hahaha i'm so bad.. Just hoping for the best.

Learning a lot already and I think I have the germination part down.

Looking forward to a great grow! i'm so excited!

Question of the day
How long did your seed take to come out of the soil?

thanks guys!

man, i only read the first few pages, but it sounds like you messed with the seeds waaaaay to much (diggin them up and shit) all you gotta do is soak the soil before you plant the seed, just get the soil so moist that you dont even to worry about watering till after it pops out the soil. if you water the seed AFTER you PLANT it, you will lose it almost every time!!! after you get by this step you'll be fine :) (DO NOT DIG FOR THE FRIGGIN SEED AFTER YOU PLANT IT LOL LET NATURE TAKE ITS COURSE!)

my last grow (link is in my sig) i used the paper towel method to germ it, i didnt even wait for a tail i just waited for it to crack open, then i planted it.. it took two days for it to pop up and say hello :peace: hope this helps

minor update: I just planted both seeds like @autoflowa recommended
you'll be fine man, seeds dont have paper towels in nature know what im sayin? lol .. its personal preferance really, cus i know some people that plant seeds without germing at all.. actually i've done it a few times with success if that makes you feel better :) as long as you maintain a constant temp desirable for plants to grow you will be golden, dont let it get too cold i leave my lights on to help cus weather here is cold now.. it actually doesnt need light at this point so dont keep the light so close that it sucks all the water out your container, but in my case its far too cold to leave the lights off,, :bigjoint:

yea.. i left my intake fan on and the exhaust fan on and my temperature dropped down to 65degrees F overnight.. I think I'll have to leave my outtake fan off since it's really cold here too. That keeps the temperature constant at 75~80 degrees

:eyesmoke:Mate Germing In Paper Towls Will Give You Grater Chance Ov Shock Just Soak In Dark Warm Place 24-25c And After 12 to 24 hours if seeds have sank then Pot Up You Do N ot Want To Place A Seed With Tap Root In Soil As Can Stunt Growth And Shock The Baby And Also Roots Hate Light So Thers A Reason Strate Away Without Even Touching It It Could Get Shock and why risk expensive seeds like that people use the paper towl method cus they feel like its faster but it same speed as if you just put direct in pot Would You Mess Around With A Baby With The Anbilical Cord Still Attached LMAO:lol:Just Trying To Help Ya Out I Not Been Funny Just My Advice To You Mate ;-)Also Plants Like Temp Drops At Night Its Actualy Beneficial For The Plants Growth

Mate Its Not Good Ye You Might Have Had Good Results But Really Thats All To Do With You Thinking You Got Good Results I Mean I Place Mine In Soil After Been Soaked 12 hours and you look at urs after 12 hours and you think its good cus you see the tap root ye ye this the way to go lmao when really its a Stupid Way Ov Germinateing i mean farmers soak ther weet seeds and other seeds in water they dont soak in paper towls lmao its just not Right When A Seed Germinates Its Ment To Be Pitch Black And Nice And Cosy In Its Medium Trust Dont Listen This Noob He A Fool When Things Are Artificial Inseminated Do They Watch The Baby Forming In The Test Tube No They Put It Strate Wher Its Ment To Go Same With Seeds Mate And I Promise Your Plants Grow Better Stronger Quicker Thats A Fact Read A Little Noob Boy:cuss:Or Atleast Grow A Little Befor You Tell People Such Rubbish/Its Not Natural Same As Soil Versus Hydro Hydro Not Compete With Soil For The Finished Product Ye May Be A Little Bigger Yield But The Soil Will Be Far Superior In Smell Taste And So On And Why Cus Its Natural Ment To Be :cuss:
