Dankasaurusrex Superbutter

I've spent quite some time now making butter and subsequent brownies, cookies, and such. Traditionally I used a double boiler or a crock pot for many hours and added water. This worked.

But nowhere near as well as what you're about to learn:

When you double-boil, you aren't above 212. A Crock Pot seldom goes over 200. THC's boiling point is 392 degrees. Makes sense given they ask you to bake the goods at 350, eh? Don't believe me? Check Erowid on the matter:

At any rate, using a thermometer that you can point at something and read a temperature....I cooked my nug/leave mix (dried and ground very fine) along with a couple of cups of water and ran it all the way up around 300-310! They sell these thermometers at RC car stores to tell how hot the engine is. I cooked for around 1.5hrs. I should also note that I use large brewers hop bags to put the material in. Makes it easier to work with, and they are re-usable.

The last step involves two cookie sheets (must be identical), two boards, a bucket, and a bench vise with a few c - clamps. I've never had a single person I've given this technique to come back and tell me they will double boil. ;-) Hope this helps!
