Hi every one

Does anyone of you know what happens if we break the dark cycle of auto flowering strains In for example 20/4 cycle ?

Does it influence the final yield?

is their dark cycle is as important as normal strains?

Peace

no, the dark cycle is not important in autos.. flowering is not triggered by photo period as in most mj plans, but rather age of the plants.. so your lighting is really up to what you wanna give them.

Thanks for the answer

Have you had this case before(bareaking the dark cycle frequently?

Is it fair if I say the yield of autos under 12/12 is about half the yield in cases of 20/4?

i would say that lower light periods would give you a decreased yeild for sure, but whether it works directly proportional like that, i am not sure if that is one hundred percent correct,, the only thing that you may have to worry about by interupting dark periods often is that it can cause stress and make your plants turn hermie.. if by interupting the dark period you mean turning the lights on for a half an hour or so everyday that is, but if your just talking about not 24 hours of light, don't worry about hermies, they will be fine..
