dark necrotic spots on lower leaves (w/ pics) Someone's gotta know what this is!

Alright, I already lost 1 plant to this problem and still can't figure it out. here's the run down:
C99 x hash plant clone 4 weeks from rooting.
4x 23w 6500k CFL @18/6
2x 23w 2700K CFL @ 18/6
soil is 1/3 MG organic with super low N-P-K, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 black cow dung
GH 3 part Flora nutes @ 1/4 strength
Cal-Mag @ 1/4 strength
RO water @ ph 7
temps stay @ 77*F - 65*F RH 35%-45%

Lower leaves start to turn yellow and form these brown spots. Brown spots get bigger, causing the whole leaf to yellow with dark necrotic spots and eventually die and fall off. It's moving up the plant. Thought it might be a "K" def, but it's getting plenty of it from the GH nutes. so, I'm stumped. any help gets +rep. sorry about the low quality pics, gotta invest in a better camera. Any thoughts are appreciated. DSCN0781.jpgDSCN0782.jpgDSCN0784.jpgDSCN0789.jpgDSCN0785.jpgDSCN0783.jpg

I don't know shit. If I had to say ur soil is very rich and ur adding nutes which may not be to necessary. Def over ferted. Flush now!
I am a new guy on 2nd grow. I hate ur soil but might be to risky to transplant. I hope a vet grower leaves reply.

That mg and cow dung mix may be your problem. The dung is hot and thick. The mg has nute problems bc of the time release ferts. The combined effect will b problems w nutes, root growth, and drainage. If ur gonna stick wit that mix then be careful of overwatering and try to get more perlite in there.

You may also want to ease off the nutes and see what the plant tells you. That way you can figure out if it's a deficiency or a burn. Also should test the soil ph, something could be getting locked out.

No and no. If anyhing your not using enough fertilizer. Why are you using fetilizers at 1/4 and 1/2 strength?? Cow manure has little nutrient value to it and it raises your pH. It also usually attracts bugs and disease. Cow manure and weed is a bad idea, I learned the hard way, an entire season fucking with bugs, ph problems and mold.

Your plant is showing signs of Potassium deficientcy. Because of the manure, you soil has become salty, or toxic salt build up is what its called. If you dont take care of this now, your plants are just gonna become more toxic. Excess sodium causes a miriad of nutrient problems because it make it hard for the plant to take in nutes.

Its sad because your plants are screaming for food, but the more you feed them, the more sodium thats builds up in your soil. Normally you'd want to feed them a full strength fertilizer to solve this problem, but with your soil, thats only gonna cause more problems. You need to go to the nursery, or hydroponic store or wherever you go to get soil, and pop for a quality bag of soil. I suggest Sunshine Mix #4, If you cant afford or find that, get a good organic soil (if your really broke MG organic choice is decent, but it could use some perlite) csomewhere and transplant your plants into that soil and pray that its not too late. For now water with plain water and transplant ASAP!! Dont use cow manure again!

Good Luck

Beansly is right. The manure has a very low npk (all Values below 1). Your nutes are too low or they are being locked out. Get new soil. Last resort use that perlite and mg you have and transplant into a mix of just those, no manure (or very limited quantity like 5%). Rinse those roots off when you transplant u don't want any of that dirty salty cow poo left behind.

Thanks for the responses. I've used the same mix for a while now and only a few of my plants ever show this problem. But I definately understand what you are saying and it makes perfect sense. I'm gonna transplant to just straigth soil and perlite for now and flush it good. I have 2 more that gotta be transplanted to soil cause they just showed roots so now is good timing anyways. I'll try to get some better soil asap for their next transplant which will prob bein a month or so. I've posted up this problem before and not a single reply. So for your quick response I thank you all. I'll post up pics in a few days to show if this all helps

those expensive nutes are gay
Thanks for your helpful post after the fact. It's nice to see that the world is still full of people that have nothing better to do than to post snive little "that's gay" messages into a thread that's meant to help people. do yourself a favor and go take your opinions and shove them up your ass since you like gay things so much. Douche.

Thanks for the info pureblood. I transplanted her to a new soil yesterday and flushed real good. I'm gonna start back with the regular feeding schedule @ 1/2 strength on the next feed. At this point I figure i should see if it helps or not. Gonna keep a close eye on the new growth and go from there, making sure to keep my soils ph down around 6.5. If the problem still persists, i figure then i will know exactly what is going on. Thanks again for all the help. I'll keep you all posted about the progress and what we find out.

douche? is that the thing ur momma uses? snive? nice word. ur very bitter that your nutrients suck salty peanuts i think. relax, take a deep breath of herb(preferably not your own cause it sucks)and think about how you're treating your plants. plants are alot like yourself. give yourself fastfood only and you will get fat with zits all over your face, which i assume you have.

and if u want my advice, ditch the shitty nutes. they are equivalent to you only drinking mountain dew. flush them, and if u want to still give them the chemical route nutes, go with just a all purpose fertilizer MG 20-16-16 or whatever the npk is. but ur smoke is not gonna be as good as if you gave them alfalfa meal, guano, worm castings, seaweed extract mollasses etc. this is personnally why i choose to grow my own. people are stupid and think a fancy label and high price tag will give them the best buds.

I'm not on here for name calling and childish bullshit. Quite simply it's a waste of my time. I was just looking for advice from others who have more experience than me. That being said thank you for the advice that was actually relavent to the thread. My main grow is in a dwc 5gal bucket setup and I use my "gay" nutes for them. I had 2 extra clones root up so I stuck them in some soil instead of just throwing them out. If I choose to continue growing in soil then I will concider your advice

Remember this part of the site is for help with sick plants. Let's keep the responses helpful
