Dark period before flushing????

What is the deal w/leaving the lights off before cut'em down????

It's been recorded that some strains can have up to a 30% increase in THC with a 72 hour dark period just before chopping them.

Almost all strains will have a small increase so it can only be good to do this with all of them.

When lites out, sugars, starches,etc. are stored in roots. When lites on- they flow throughout plant. SO- after period of dark, most of stuff you are trying to flush out of buds is allready out. Thats the basic idea as I understand it. Makes for quicker, easier , cleaner flush.

Roots been wet for two days of flushing, does it matter to dry out or let sit in dark for 72 hours???

It doesn't matter that it's wet before the dark period.
