Hi
I'm jimmy, I've haven't been on here for a bit but before you toast my ass for asking silly questions
A: I can grow weed
B: I'm not a spaz
C: it was free
D: if ya gonna be a dick and lecture me on proper curing and drying methods
SAVE IT I DON'T CARE AND KNOW HOW TO DO IT

So I got about 10 oz of this strange looking weed
I have no idea how it came to look like this or what strain it is.
But it gets you ripped and is a strong smoke
Problem is that
A: it's Fucked to look at (red/brown colour)
B: smells like crap
C: tastes pretty average

Now who has came across a problem like this and how did you make it taste and smell better
I think there is fuck all I can do about the look of it
But I hear using orange peel (scraped) and other fruits can change it but
Does it make it taste better
If you have found a way to fix this or even improve it let me know I would love to hear ur thoughts

It's dried and cured already? Then you've got nothing to lose. Try orange peels. It'll improve the fragrance. Or you can get some good shit and grind it all up and mix it. You can't beat free.

It could be watercured weed.
It's very hard to tell without pictures but what you described matches some watercured strains.

And yes you can use any kind of fruit peel to add moisture to your weed.
But since yours has been dried and cured you cannot do much, you might be able to get the flavour transferred but you won't enhance the weed other than that.

dude i have seen something around here like you are describing. To me, the stuff I saw, looked like decent buds but they were cured in a "brown weed" type fashion and were very dark and hard. The smoke was a bit harsh but quite stony. Pretty dry but rock had nugs like super vacume packed from a mexican gas tank. Thats the stuff I saw. I think my reply explains my theories on how it got that way
