hi all , when is the right time to put the plant on a 12 12 darkness cycle and for how long .thanks

When you and your plant are ready to flower... Depends on the straind, anywhere from 7-16 weeks.

It will double or triple its height when it flowers, so make sure you have room so you dont hit the lights. You can flower whenever you want to, go 12/12 until you harvest the plant.

you can go 12/12 from seed but yield will be crap (good for stealth tho)

Ya, I've heard about it and heard mixed results. I tried increasing my length of darkness to get the same effect and couldn't really tell much. I went to 16 hrs of darkness for a couple weeks. Something may have happened but nothing spectacular. Just go ahead and try it... A couple extra days of darkness right before you chop your plant sure isn't going to hurt anything.
