It seems like a no lose proposition to me. Sometimes. The Republicans allow an investigation and either Trump isn't implicated and stays in power or Ryan or Pence step in. But if they don't investigate after we put so much pressure on them, their hands will be dirty when the orange balloon pops.

I guess they know they need Trump to push their bullshit agenda through.

Newspapers shouldn't be allowed to publish without naming their sources! Now that's a party that respects the Constitution.

War is coming. The soldiers will wear MAGA caps and knit pussy helmet covers.

Reminds me of the early Watergate inquiries.

Except I don't remember Nixon banning certain news organizations from press meetings.

With today's political polarization, I wonder how the Watergate investigation would have gone.

We'll be finding out soon. You can't hide behind fake news forever.

Nixon won in a massive landslide in '72, and had 75% of congress turned against him in 2 years.

Is that even still possible?

When he was taking the oath of office, my brain kept hearing the sound of typewriters like the All The President's Men montage.

It's complicated. Can we produce a Russian deep throat? Can we supeona the tax returns?
Will his supporters continue to parrot fake news?

This is the most bizzare period in the history of modern American politics.

I never thought obvious lies could have merit in the eyes of the masses.

When Hillary Clinton first used the term, 'vast right wing conspiracy' back in the '90's, I'm not sure I believed it.

Today, with Trump, it's almost obvious.

45 stands for deflection and avoiding facts at all costs. It's his only hope.

You're correct Nixon never banned any news org in fact no prez that I can think of ever did but he did say the press was the enemy and he was one hell of an arrogant SOB and come to find out years later that he also was rumored to be a traitor and proven decades later to be true, he conspired with a foreign government to prolong the Vietnam war just so he could win an election, sound familiar?

Must be a Republican thing all traitors have been Republicans Nixon, Reagan and now the orange turd. I thought Republicans were the defenders of the constitution but turn out to be the biggest faketriots just like all these Trump supporters who are now MIA.
