Is this normal? :S I was expecting this plant to go 8-9 weeks its currently week 5.5. The hairs are also starting to brown. Is it just finishing a little sooner than expected or do I have a problem?

I don't know much, but my plants are 30 days into flowering (50-60 days flowering strains) and the leaves are already yellowing like yours.

I guess if you're using bloom accelerators it could finish earlier.

I'm probably wrong though...

It looks like you have an iron Fe defficiency. Are you using a fertilizer with a higher phosphorus number ? ex. 9-59-9 ? something along those lines ? If this is the case the high phosporus will raise your ph and inturn can lock up the iron in your soil. I'm thinking i'm close on the explination someone else might be able to chime in.

just organic stuff, bio biz bloom, grow and some molasses. oh and a bit of advanced nutes revive which contains calcium and some essential elements.

Its Normal for the plant to yellow during flowering as it puts attention on its buds, this happens later in the flowering though, this is relatively early. Just give it some high Nitrogen Ferts.

Well I'm not trying to sound smart when I myself am still learning on my first grow.

So, would the start of the N def be normal halfway through flowering? or only in the last two weeks?

So whats rreally the solution to this... You guys just think a feed of high nitrogen should cut it? Could it pherhaps be cold weather? Causing an iron def. Cause Temps are hitting minus 3 outside and lights off my tent gets to like 17c.

I think you should continue on with what you are doing. They look fine :hump:

If anything, I would add 3ml (per gal) of Cal-Mag Plus and either mix it in with your nutes or with a plain water feeding.

Ah well according to the strain guide it only flowers 55 days max meaning ive only 2 weeks left! So this is much better than I thought I thought i had 4 weeks left. Guess ill give final nutes today then just plain old molasses for a week then nothing in final week. Thanks guys.

yeh this will be my last nute feed then theres literally about 2 weeks left. Ill feed with molasses for another week though!

mine are around 30 days in and i dont have much yellowing yet. but it is deffinitly normal for the nitrogen to be used up as the flowering process ends. nice girls by the way. im not really sure how long i have till its done though. thats the hard part for me is i have no idea when to harvest

great advice Bones. next time, you would want ur plants finishing up like this so dont let them get so deficient. otherwise, very nice buds and they look like they will finish just dandy

Hey Smokey

Not to hijack the OP's thread, but some of the larger fan leaves on mine have gone completely yellow and are starting to crisp and dry out from the edges; eventually dying and falling off.

I know you're supposed to have deficiencies at the end of flowering but I'm only halfway through...

what you describe sounds like a K problem, which is very very common during flowering and something u want to get under control soon. as long as it is the largest fans working way up the top of plant and not progressed to the smaller fans on the bud sites-u should be ok.
now for the reason why... provide some more details about ur grow and some photos.
