De Sjamaan Purple Widow - Depressing

This was my first attempt at growing but I read for 6+ months and did my research before even attempting to germinate my first seed. Then I ordered from Attitude once I felt I was prepared enough to get started, got my lights, timer, thermometer, peat pellots, soil, and some small pots to get them started indoors before moving them out.

I had trouble with them from the start when only 6/12 germinated... Then they autoed after only about a month and a half of veging and 5 turned out to be males. I have one pw plus the free fem'd blue hash I got and a few bag seed plants still going.

I've already dug my holes, bought my dirt and carried it out to the site and all of that shit and now I put in all that work for over half of my crop to turn out to be males. Hopefully these other plants will make it through the season and provide some quality bud other wise I'm going to be depressed as fuck

crazy i got 70%fem on my pw and 90%germ rate just clone it and put the clones out

You should expect 50% males with regular seeds. PW is an outdoor plant and is known to auto indoors so it's not your fault tey might still perform well for you outdoors regardless.

Ledgrowing, what was your method for germination and what medium did you have them in? I'm assuming you grew them indoors using led's?

I think I'm going to clone the blue hash instead of the pw, just because it seems to be a lot more stable. I might take a few pw cuts though, doesn't hurt to try I guess. I knew I'd get some males but 5/6 was pretty depressing to find, especially when only 6/12 germ'd. Anyway I'm keeping my head up, hoping for the best.

Dam dude that sucks alot. But the best way to germ for me is to put my seeds in a wash ragg and soak with tap water and put it n the trunk of my car and I have 85-100 percent success. As far as seeds I always get feminized seeds,that way u r more aware of wat u got.

The one thing i tell first time growers is to get Jorge Cervantes " Marijuana Medical Growers Bible " with this book u will have every answer to any question u may ever have from Seeds 2 Harvest!!!
