dead bugs in buds

What do you know about removing dead bugs from buds about to be harvested. I'm about a week away and I've noticed little dead bugs throughout the buds. They don't seem to be harming the plant...I'd rather not smoke them though. Any suggestions for a dip or washing method would be most helpful. Thanks

If you get on the New England outdoors 2018 thread, on pag 60 is a recipe for wash that cderek1 posted. I used it Sunday. Was surprised to see how much stuff came off the buds. I have been trimming other buds that are already dry the last two nights, and that close inspection that goes with trimming will show some bugs. I found two tiny green caterpillars tonight.

If they're visible, consider tweezers. Only a buck at the Dollar Store.

there is a thread on this on the internet, google "Bud washing" .......Doc Bud i think is the one who claims to have invented or brought this to light. Just finished washing a percentage of my first harvest to test this method. Haven't heard anything negative enough about this to sway me from this technique so far.

When I think how the outdoors landrace I buy for daytime weed is grown in the field, cut and left there for 3 days to dry then stuck in bags and shipped all over the country, I am happy to only be smoking bugs. Some taste worse than others... Also, people pay to rub snail snot over themselves, so smoking a bit will probably help you grow a third lung or something.
