Dead leaves on the interior of large bushes. Will they mold if left alone?

I've noticed that on my large bushy plants some of the oldest fan leaves that are buried low in the canopy have started to die off. Maybe 5-10 leaves per plant each week. I find them brown and dried up when I go checking under the girls skirts.

I'm pretty sure this is normal, and I remove any that I find, but if I miss any what are the changes that they will cause mold or other issues?

Thanks.

Definitely normal. I remove all dead leaf to prevent mold or insect problems. Missing a few usually wont hurt. Happy growing :)
