Decarbing RSO

Just looking for some clarification. I've watched several RSO how to videos and several of them suggest decarbing the oil upon completion. I'd think that it would already be well decarbed considering all the time spent cooking off the solvent. Any comments? Thanks!

If you are really into using the oil as medicine and want larger doses without getting so stoned it's scary then ingesting oil that hasn't been decarbed will allow you to take much larger doses. As medicine it doesn't need to be decarbed from everything I've read. I make a coconut oil extract where I raise the temp enough to decarb right in the oil during the extraction so all the terpenes are captured in the oil and you end up with a whole plant extract. Decarbing in the oven prior to extraction cooks off a lot of good medicine that stinks up your house and is lost.
