December 5, is a day to mark because it is the anniversary of the repeal of prohibition in US law. Since that date, every December 5 has been celebrated as Repeal Day. Cannabiphyles have an interest in adopting and promoting Repeal Day as an occasion to make the point that today's cannabis prohibition is as destructive and unjust as alcohol prohibition was in the 1930s.
