Decided to get me some autos have some questions

Picked out the strains Auto Pounder , Berry Rider and Northern lights x Big Bud now for the questions.

Should I use my 1000w MH in the beginning for veg? if so for how many weeks? or should I just use the 1000w HPS only?

Should I go straight from the pellet to the 5 gallon bucket? I'm going to be using roots organics soil.

yes on the halide i would switch to the hps 2-3 weeks after preflower usually when real flowering begins your really should add some extra perlite to your soil auto's require really high drainage soil and over watering slows the growth to almost a stop and in the end diminishes yield you could always just plant the jiffy pellet and then plant the seed in that

most soils are to hot for baby auto's so the jiffy would help that out
try and hold back on the nutes untill atleast the 3rd week i usually wait until preflower then really theres just a few weeks until flower
this is just to try and leech some of the nutes in the soil start with 1/4 str nutes then work up
there's no way to get any veg time back if you slow them down now or stunt the plant will finish but ive seen auto's that are very stable yield anywhere from 3 grams to 3 ounces just from different growers styles
