Deciding on a fan

I'm setting up my first grow room and need to buy a fan to cool a 400w. I'm just wondering which fans you guys prefer and how strong of a fan I need to cool 1 400w. Thanks.

Here is the FAN - FILTER which I purchased

190 CFM - Vortex blower, I use it with a speed controller.

This really cools my reflector. I an running a speed controller at the lowest level, because it is cold here at the moment. Then I can crank it up if needed.

The guys above ships from El Monte, CA. There is another vendor who ships from Pittsburgh PA. This could save you on shipping and also if you have an issue with the purchase.

anyone know of an alternate solution. this is my setup design. it needs to be stealthy (not wicked noisy)

Does this fan make any sort of hum when you use a speed controller on it? I'm assuming your using the speedster?

The fans all make noise. I would go to a hydro shop and see how loud they are.

I think they are all pretty loud.

I dont think so my self, from what I have read and seen, they are all a little different in Db in operation.

Personally I have seen the Sunleaves .com fan, but it growls with the speedster..
