Asking what qualifications does an elected official have that qualifies them to be an elected official is answered by the word in their title: elected.I'm just asking the critical questions necessary to discern a candidate's ability to get further than the primary.
If you the shit I said could be construed negatively, wait for an opp-research firm looks into her.
She's in a safe district for Democrats. From what I've read about her, other than being inexperienced, she seems to be a pretty good progressive for her district. No Republican of today's party can possibly move far enough to the left to challenge her. Doesn't matter what they say although you do bring up a good point about what the opposition is going to say.
After the 2016 election it's pretty clear that Republican don't need facts to smear Cortez. Within days or maybe hours, somebody will post a smear that is entirely made up and the party of Trump will absorb the news as if it were fact. Then Democrats will have to explain the facts that show the lunacy of the fake news but it won't matter. It will continue to be brought up by the same kind of idiots that continue to bring fake shit up here. Within 5 or so years, Cortez will be talked of as if she were Hillary Clinton, Obama and Marx all rolled into one.
