on the right: Fast Buds strawberry banana auto
Left: Fast Buds purple punch

i kinda messed up the layering.
top half: Fox Farm Bushdoctor’s Coco Loco
bottom: FFOF
Layer of great white in between

I’ve top dressed with FFOF and ewc once, because I was told the Coco the top layer doesn’t retain water the same as the soil bottom layer.

I have ewc, recharge, fish sh!t, great white, and Gaia green 4-4-4 & 2-8-4.

I mixed in some all purpose and flower Gaia last week. In week 5.

the straw nana on the right looks like it’s getting interveinal chlorosis. Under a Mars Hydro tsw2000 in a 2x4. 5gal fabric pots.

Can you help out? If it’s magnesium, can I use Epsom salt in organic? I seem to always fudge something up with every grow. I want to learn and fix this. Thanks, fellow growers.

Best of luck. I'm interested to see how this turns out for you. Honest question, why not use happy frog instead of Coco. I treat my coco plants completely differently from my soil plants because Coco is mostly inert

Epsom Salts, is organic, and should always be used, unless otherwise supplied some other way.

Weed is a Magnesium Whore, and one of, if not the most common container plant deficiencies, is Magnesium.

It also contains Sulphur, which is important in the production of Terpenes. Magnesium Sulfate, is what it is.

Its an Essential Secondary Nutrient. Along with Calcium, and others. Its an Electrolyte. Nothing works right, when the plant, or yourself, has an electrolyte, imbalance/deficiency. It can be Fatal to humans/Heart Attack. And in the plant, it will cannibalize itself.

Because it’s what I had laying around. Live and learn.

Thanks for the info! Will look up how much to use. I heard LEDs make them need even more.

Just an update on the plants. They are just about ready, and came out fine. Not as big as the other ones I’ve grown, but they still look pretty juicy.

The new ones are not in layered soil. :weed:
