Looking at the new leaves not the burnt ones as that was caused by the lights being way to close and using way to much
Strain: Blue Dream (1 plant)
Age: 2 Weeks 2 Days
Area: 2'x3' Closet (door wide open w/ thin sheet to reduce escaping light)
System: DWC 3 Gallon Hydrofarm
Lighting: 4 23W 6500K CFL @ approx 7"
PH: Around 5.5 (waiting for a trucheon ec meter in the mail)
Extras: 10-30 Gallon Air Pump
4" Air Stone
500GPH Water Current Motor
20" Box Fan
Nutes: GH Flora 3 Part
1/2 tsp FloraMicro
1/4 tsp FloraGro
1/4 tsp FloraBloom
Recommended by mfg 1/4 tsp/gallon each
Any other info just ask

Do you know you have to wash hydroton for a long time before you use it? The clay will mess up your ph.

PH is fine and hydroton was washed well before use and soaked for 48 hours in pH adjusted water and pH checked before plant went in. I'm not that much of a noob, its just every picture reference I checked to see what is going on doesn't have what's showing. If your talking about the burnt leaves like I said in my opening line it was from too many lights that were way too close, 172w of cfl at an inch away.

I don't grow in that stuff unless I'm doing deep water culture. It looks small cant say its bad genetics i guess. I went TLO and never really looked back.

I would switch to an amazing diy e/f system if I wasn't constricted by space. But I guess I'll just have to wait for my ec meter, hopefully the little one doesn't get worse by then

Either you lighting or nutrients --- adjust nutrients (lower) Flushing will clear the problem . One should not use nutrients till week 3 and at Lower rates that ate directed

"Ph is fine"

What is a fine ph?

Shouldn't be a deficiency yet, not genetics man come on:roll:

A fine pH is between 5.5 and 6 for hydro. Genetics show as early as it wants, just like early trichomes is part of genetics. But I think you were right harrishawk I add a couple more lights and raised them a couple more inches and the yellowing started to dissipate overnight.
