i am using mother earth coco in 7 gallon smart pots
my last harvest i used the house and garden feeding schedule to the T with every additive, which i do regret now as it seemed to burn my plants up pretty bad (especially my cheese)
two weeks ago i flushed all these plants and i have now started them with half the recommended nutrients from house and garden minus the amino treatment
i appear to be dealing with magnesium deficiency so i also added in cal-mag in hopes to see some changes
(i know magnesium deficiency can take up to a couple weeks to show signs of recovery so maybe that is the problem and i just need to be patient? )
my last harvest got dried out a week before harvest and turned real sad with no signs of recovery so i am cutting them down a little early
Any advice on my garden or post as this is my first post on any forum, is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

my ph meter was slightly off when i calibrated it last week as well and actually doesnt give me a consistent reading with the drops after i have calibrated it so im now just using the drops keeping it right around 6 20140728_171747.jpg 20140728_165112.jpg 20140728_165052.jpg 20140728_165026.jpg

looks to me like they need a shot or two of veg nutes lack of nitrogen is causing the fans to get yellow and fall off . also if your ph has been off you could have been having ph lock out . ive never done coco but as i understand it you need a ph of 5.8 like hydro as its a soiless medium . any thing above 6.0 will result in a lockout , ph metre is broke you gotta fix it if going soiless i would think . good luck .

after the flush i have been also giving them nitrogen boost as well. im gonna have to figure out what i can do about that damn meter as i just bought it a couple months ago. i suppose patience might play key here, im just feeling a little nervous as two days ago i came into the garden to see so many fallen leaves
