Defoliating In flower??

I noticed yesterday when putting my hand through the plants my hand seems to get wet like there’s droplets of water on the leaves I think it’s down to the plants touching each other and holding moisture the humidity is about 30 percent I did try to give them as much room as I could but they went mental when I flipped em and grew way more than expected I stripped some leaves last night to create more air flow through the middle what’s everyone’s thoughts on heavy defoliation I’m 3 weeks into flower don’t want to end up getting any mould or anything??

Remove them a little at a time. Never all in one go.
I once had a huge plant 3 weeks into flower. Removed about 40 % of the leaves and small stems in one go. The next day all white hairs on buds were gone/ dead! Had to chop all the main colas and flower all the little shit that was left.
This is why I suggest remove them slowly. Good luck

Also I’m new around here but have found the best info is in the journals. A lot of reading but there’s some dudes there that could grow a bottle of whiskey from a drop of beer

Youre pretty much too late to defoliate again, but at this point the plant shouldnt get much bigger.
Doing a little in the first 2 weeks or so during stretch isnt too bad, but you just gotta let them go at this point or youre going to, at best, slow them down.
what you can do is try to train it and pull branches apart and tie them down or something. Go in every few days and just pull branches apart and shake them around a bit.
If you can, try to get some fans around the bottoms or mid levels of your plants to get more air flow around them.

Its definitely a concern but chopin leaves at 3-5 weeks of flower is a double edge sword in a way from my perspective. The buds Need all the leaves for energy to grow the flowers. But yes ya need airflow inside the plant also. From powdery mildew and all, It all comes to, AH Fuck whaattah I do. Either way your going to sacrifice yeild.

Wow that’s not good lol well I guess I’m gonna just get some more fan and try get some air flowing through the canopy as I can’t really start tying them down as it will make each one wider and I haven’t got the space as there touching each other already thanks for all the comments

This happens daily in my tent and if leaves touch within their boundry layer this inevitable.

Never caused me a problem, 9 plants in a 1x1meter tent i cant avoid leaves transpiring onto the surface of another.

Incidentaly for all you VPD fans this is proof that even with 100% air saturation leaves still transpire :-)

Dude, before you make claim like that...better research it first....at 100% saturation...you have rain inside your tent....fucking awesome.

Secondly, since you didn't get any mold in your grow that doesn't make it mold-proof....the fact is simple....if there is standing moisture and the temperature is right...it would create an environment conducive to mold growth..

So the question is.....would you rather avoid that type of environment or run the risk of having mold?

Water condensed on a surface at the boundary layer of two leaves.... dew point was reached somewhere Einstein.

Now to the higher science i quoted on VpD and its limitations to transpiration and that was even at 100% air saturation transpiration occur pr that leaf would be dry not wet. One might find a similar situation underwater :-)

It did rain, on the leaf s'why its wet :-)

I say go for it. I like to defoliate after the stretch and then from day 30 or so on I'll pluck a few fan leaves here and there if they're blocking a bud site from the light

Do you realize that if ya just tuck the big fan leaves under the bud sites, instead of eliminating them, that your yeild will be a higher overall dry weight? I'm just speaking from experience. Hopefully, hypothetical wannabe growers don't get offended by my statement.
