u trim all your fan leaves (defoliate) in the middle of flower? wow..lol

Ill leave you to it...
I'd say fuckin trimming is somewhat defoliating cause the definition of defoliate it to remove leaves from a plant lmao! You're still defoliating you're plant even if you're taking acouple leaves off

No sir that is not defolaiting , that's a pre trim trimming ...... I can call a school bus a van but it does not make it true by definition .....

EDIT And look at the third pic in the link you just posted, there are 50 leaves still on the plant.....

it means to strip leaves. When u strip a car or a girl or paint, you remove it all.
Again its in the word it self. De- Foliate. Agent orange is a chemical defoliant. Unfortunately stoners use the term incorrectly the same as when they say Flush when they should be using leach. Its just horticulture.

Big negatry there ghost writer, as with a car, if only the door was scratched you dont strip the whole car, hense you would partially strip paint , to bend a slut over you need only get her outta her panties..... Or in other words you would only partially strip her down and out of her knickers .... Dont think about it so one sided , Open the mind to new thoughts and ideas mate :)

No your just making yourself look silly. You remove a door or paint or knickers.
Go and do a Horticulture course and come back to me or see the million other defoliating threads were gardeners and Horticulturists have tried to explain the practice.
By now.

So many people bring differnt life subjects into growing and I find it funny, people say cutting fan leaves off are like losing your hands Or removing fan leaves is like changing your spark plugs cause your out of gas Now I'm hearing that when you strip a car (of course your gonna do the whole car cause that's a compete differnt type of thing). Defoliate deffintion- removing leaves off a plant or tree. It does not say anything about removing all.

Now this is such thing as Total defoliating, I think that's where I'm alittle on the correct side. Some people use the word defoliate as a total removal and others dont.

I would hate to live in a world where everything is so clear cut. 1 Million other people using the term so strictly aren't going to tell me anything not already known.... Look up the word defoliate and then realize its not totally and only able to be used when you take every leaf off of flora, Like everything else in life, It's open to partial modification and interpretation.... Audios I'm out....

Nah, I defoliate without removing all of the leaves lol. Sometimes I even Norchanktol my leaves without the defoliation of 60% and best believe me dammmit, Nortol!!!

No it was not aimed at you but there are several forms of what's known as defolation, it does not mean you yank all leaves off of the plant and I have never heard of any one claiming to be in the know to have ever doing so on any species of flora.... That is just plain dumb......
Did you delete the "noun" thing? Good if you did, it's a verb btw lol. Carry on ;).

Too bad all of those videos just show people saying it increases yield. As I said, none of them show side by side comparisons to prove that it actually helps. They could have possibly yielded more by leaving the leaves on the plant to give the plants more energy, but they all believe what they heard and just repeat it in videos. No scientific proof whatsoever.

I'm growing indoor inside a shed, I'm growing 4 plants using a 1000 watt HPS light and my canopy is so thick and I have a ton of leaves everywhere, the 4 plants are in 10 gal pots and their all right next to each other cause they are sharing the 1 light. I will post acouple pics but I don't have any "new new" pictures. The cannopy has been thick for awhile now, I'm about 3-4 weeks into flower now and wondering if I should remove some leaves to open up for more light and air flow. A lot of people say no but YouTube videos only show the benifets from defoliating. Let me know what you guys think cause I have a ton of big fan leaves covering other bud spots lower in the cannopy.
Long story short: NO. If you need to add more light and airflow, so be it. Maybe next time grow less or smaller plants. Taking leaves off is only to be done when you are trimming. If you let your plants fully ripen the fan leaves should fall off, at least in the wild they do.

And ill add that lolly popping (which is the trimming of lower growth not defoliating. You could however say the defoliating of lower growth) is widely used, especially by Scrogers and Rose Growers. The general consensus is It does not yield more what it does is make trimming easier, helps airflow to prevent mould and helps the plant concentrate on the canopy flowers of the plant.

Nature does a great job of defoliating on deciduous trees but Cannabis is not Deciduous.

Which in turn helps yield ....... I'll just leave that there for you to ponder....
Not really and this is why people like you get confused.

If you have an ounce of lower popcorn and you take it away and it gets added back to the canopy then you have the same weight on the plant...with less chance of mould and easier trimming and more bag appeal.

If you wax your tackle you may look bigger but its the same size.
