Deformed Leafs, or Deformed Thinking?

Fellow Farmers,

I am starting my second grow and have some questions about the babies in the photos below. If you look closely at the leaves, you can see where some are 1/2 formed, others just look knarled, and some look twisted. These are "Mystery Seeds" from across the pond and I have heard that there is a certain strain that grows in this manner. On my first grow I germinated one of these seeds and it looked the same way and I tossed it out. I am reaching out to all of you for a possible strain ID on these twisted babies, or maybe an explanation of whats going on. I must add that they have looked knarled from first leafs to current, so I don't think there is any human error involved. The other two I have started is a strain that I am familiar with and it looks just like it did on the first grow, no leaf imperfections. I have only given all of them light Hygrozyme in RO water. Thanks in advance!

I would guess its just that strain, Not sure what the strain is, Have you changed anything up since your last grow ie: different light, water, soil? etc.

Some slight adjustments, but nothing major. The main adjustment I have made is not over watering, a common newbie mistake. The Cali Kush looks the same as it did in round 1.

Just in case anybody is following this thread, here is an updated photo of a plant I'm calling Round Mangler. The seed was round like a ball, and the leaves are mangled hence the name. The leaves are now taking on a more uniform shape, but there is still some odd light green streaks through some leaves and some mangled looking edges.
