Democratic Party Looking to decriminalize POt in Texas, Iowa and NC

Hey, anyone from Texas or the other two states,

Please support this movement...


the want the "immediate decriminalization of marijuana".

hopefully they pull through...

Are they able to get this into the floor for voting asap?

Or do they have to wait till 2013 for the next hearing?

I think it is part of a greater trend within all of the left to push for the end of cannabis prohibition before elements of the right can take credit for enacting the necessary change. More support for the end of cannabis prohibition is good from either side of the political spectrum that I personally am grateful for.

I haven't read about this...I am rooting for Iowa and especially Texas most of all...Texas has very harsh penalties and is ruining a lot of peoples lives and has some very corrupt DA's targeting minorities....Iowa well it should of happened long ago but they got blocked by big pharma..NC I think its pretty stiff also but a lot smoke weed there.

Finshaggy better get down to TX and get in on the action.

Good luck with Texas. They're hellbent on being the first state to offer capital punishment as the mandatory minimum for your first marijuana offense.

I'm in NC and a 1/2 ounce or less is virtually nothing until your third strike and then it's still basically a slap on the wrist. Are they going for even less? That would be nice. I would love the chance to grow legally under a medical permit. Ten auto flowering dwarfs would set me up for 4-6 months. I still have the cabinet all set to go.

I think it has a lot of support and I think Texans have finally figured out that rick the douche perry is a retard...

I think the dems have more of an incentive so they can later take credit for the movement and oust the reps from office...
