and people in virginia can't see anything on the internet so it's all good
A Socialist won. That's also progress.

And good for the transgendered candidate- I hope she rubs the Republican's noses in it every chance she gets!

But don't gloat about Democrats winning under the Chump. It's not exactly an amazing achievement.

You literally just said I hope she rubs their nose in it, and then said don't gloat. Are you fucking stupid? Further more if you actually paid any attention to anyone but yourself, you'd know her victory speech was about finding common ground NOT tearing down the opposition and rubbing their noses in it.

Remember when you told us all to get in line with Bernie or get used to losing?

The left won... both mainstream dems and ultra progressives. Maybe this is a moment for everyone to left of center to realize its not a binary choice on the left between mainstream dems and ultra progressives... both groups won...

Ultra progressives its time to realize mainstream dems arent tbe enemy and can and will win

Mainstream dems need to realize ultra progressives are here to stay as part of the left.

This is a moment in history to lay down arms and realize we need to move forward together...as a united front...

It is not as if anybody here is not progressive, it is that the stupid fucking strategy of some people here is to take an ultra-left stand despite the clear evidence that this is not what the majority of Americans want right now and hobble themselves by eschewing contributors of means in order to demonstrate some ridiculous idea of purity which will leave them at a huge disadvantage in the coming elections. I love progressive positions - I am also a pragmatist who has a political sense more developed than the average three year old. Cough cough.

Thats very similiar to how i describe myself very progressive but pragmatic as well.

On the meyers briggs leadership analysis i came out highly conservative (not politically-their definition was someone who looks towards tried and true ways and whats worked in the past to use now) but also really high in being inovative- by their definition polor opposite of conservative. Usually folks rate high in one low in the other. For all my many weaknesses that is part of my personality i really like... it also i think is why im as progressive as alomost anyone yet am not wanting mainstream dems to go away...

sorry for that ramble damn weed anyway

It's not a "leadership" test, it's a general personality test and HIGHLY flawed.

Psychology is inferential and non determinate.

sorry i forgot the particulars from 20 years ago (im geeked when i can recall what i had for breakfast) , but i can tell you it was accurate in that assesment of me, something iv always taken pride in being. Wasnt using it as evidence to prove a point. Was a semi connected thought that popped in my head i shared, so the soundness of their theory of testing really is nothing we to need to hash out... :)

Well then, you are insane - because that's what you are when you have a setback and continue to rely on tried and true methods. What you are supposed to do is knock over all the building blocks and do something that is clearly not likely to work. Then pout.

You know, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. It has to be true (in all cases - for everything) because it is short and pithy and Einstein said it.

When have I ever pouted? I was an ardent supporter of Bernie but when the primary was over it didn’t take me a week to have my Clinton sign up and send her a check, I took my family to a rally of hers- I’m not a pouter.

All I’m saying is you mix the old and the new in everything. You don’t reinvent the wheel time n time again. If there’s a new idea how to make the wheel you incorporate it, but what worked on the old wheel you keep... that’s not all that novel. I don’t get the controversy.

Btw if you have a setback, and it was due to a method used, that wouldn’t be tried and true method- that would be tried and failed method... we should only use past methods that worked/work...

There are two separate personalities in there. He micro-transitions velociously between them and sometimes the personalities argue over the obvious internal contradictions and other times (as here) it's nearly seamless. It's either that or he is just entirely self-unaware.

He was being ironic and lampooning the bernsters. Read again and think the opposite of what he said.
