What are fem seeds
Answer - Female seeds, the fact they can herm lies in the ability of sexes to show others, fancy growing some tits?

why are they prone to hermying ?
Answer - At their early evolution they created of genetically adopted the hermie genetics. In the bad years these genetics came out favourable and so it hardwired an unchangable ability befor spreading round the world and hence why there is no hermie free strain.... unless you have one?

What on earth makes you think EVERY seed bank is 100% and not out just for the money.? (some banks are GREAT....folks spend years making me good genetics TY)
Answer - Ummmm pollen chucking is so easy i nay care for their bullshit and hype - any of us could crate great genetics with little effort, every chucked pollen?

YOU disagree with ME. you have not said ANYTHING to disagree with except being a dick. TY)

It’s like the old saying goes if you can’t say anything nice.... don’t say anything. Happy growing

This thread is way off track.

Kinggrow1 does have a reputation of being kind of a dick around here, and from time to time he is flat out WRONG just like the rest of us. But in this thread he did not come off being a dick. He offered information, and then a few comments with emoticons expressing playfulness/humor. You guys took that and ran with it and here we are another thread in this forum digressed into this BS.

If you have an issue with Kinggrow1 then there's an ignore function on the forum. Otherwise I see no point in turning every thread he posts in an opportunity to bash him about other threads where he hasn't been as helpful as you thought he could have been.
As for the comments at the beginning of this thread grow some thicker skin and accept that everyone here has a different way of expressing their sense of humor.

But kg1 likes the subjects so is easily sidetracked into hermies and it is a big topic for newer growers.

As far as i could get with the scientific community (not stoners or industry) was that the plant systems were too complex and relevant proteins that trigger it either too small or too elusive to find.

So a brickwall was hit and (i havent checked of late) no one knows exactly what the genetetically a herm is.

So we fall to the next level and study its characteristics to gain insight.

As far as we know there are no hermie free strains, male female auto or ruderallis ditch weedio. All strains ever bought will have a corrosponding grower reporting herms mainly.

Mjs been doing this stuff a long time in the wild and so long it decided on a genetic survival strategy to not change or cross with other plants but rather to be unchangable but love diversity within its own kind - its a hard plant to breed different leaf shape or serrations and as seen impossible to breed out the herm problem.

Another lesser study of mj in the wild shows in the bad years there were more females to males which is helpfull if you herm as you bring pollen and pistil so close even bad weather wont stop seed production.

Marijuana loves to herm and can do so with ease but we know so little else that myths such as old hermie free strains lost to commercial breeding gain support with ease and were back to broscience and gyessing.

If some one had a herm free strain it would take the market share in sales to new growers, millions in profit and fame here for about two weeks max - so if you want to believe the counter debate just forward me your herm free genetics and ill make you a millionaire seed baron god minus my twenty percent :-)

I’m gonna hope you wasn’t talking to me when you said bitch because I thought we had already had our moment but if that’s the case I got lots more to say.

harvest when calyxs or bracts or whatever you want to call them are all individually swollen

ignore stigmas (pistils) and trichs if you want dense buds you gotta wait for all the calyxs to swell
.........
Bro that is the best advis

Bro the best answer ever.. totally agree with you.. trichs and pistils are an indications when plants are mature and ready to harvest but an extra week or 2 is where they put on there weight where the calyxs swell.. haha I call them bud clusters.lol. so if I have an 8 wk Indy and those clusters havent shown up in force il wait. R.i.u. y'all

Firstly i thought you wanted to discuss/debate where i am wrong in what i write on hermies and subsequent genetic strategies so am unsure why your reply dosent address your questions to which i have tried to provide some accurate views.

Secondly ya i did say Bitch... thought that was pretty humorous too and part of an afro american slang dialogue i believe in context this time rather than something like 'You are a sisy B!£*h' which i would precieve as offensive :-)

I think think bitch is offensive, offensive enough to have you picking your teeth up off the ground if you were in arms reach. Possibly shitting the rest. So watch what you say to me, Sissy,
Second I could give a fuck less about discussing hermies with you, I made a thread about dense mugs, not Hermies. I never once mentioned a fucking hermie in this post. So go the fuck on somewhere. I ask for some info... not some smart ass remarks from some smart ass prick

I think it's more than just lots of light. I have noticed higher density when I use the 10k MH finishing bulbs. I think having lots of blue light makes for higher density.

Also cooler temps. High temps make loose airy buds, often fox tailing.
I have never tried a 10k finishing bulb, but just finished first flower run with 4k LED as opposed to the 3k I usually use, those were very dense, but its a new strain so could of just been that.
Im certain spectrum plays a part in all manor of plant and bud characteristics though. :eyesmoke:
