Design of Stealth Grow Wardrobe ( Advice Needed )

Hello people

Ok so here is what im thinking of doing, I need a complete stealth grow so in my room im going to build 2 corner wardrobe units for either end of my wall and place a bought standard wardrobe to go inbetween them. So if people do enter it just looks like 1 big wardrobe/storage space, i will be building all this out of Beech Wood Sheeting so it matchs my other furniture in the room and my laminate.

I am only going to be using the 1 built wardrobe corner unit as a grow room and the other 1 as storage along with the standard wardrobe.

First of all im not at all DIY friendly so will take alot fo time and mistakes on my behalve to master this to make it look nice , So heres my plan the corner unit i wish to use for growing.

Plan:

Dimensions: 3ft width x 3ft depth x 6ft height (rough estimates im still drawing up the design for it)

Lighting System: 600W Lumatek Digital Ballast, Large Diamond Reflecter, 600W SunMaster Dual Spectrum Bulb. ( Later on if heating and electric isnt a probably i have rigged up 12 CFL sockets ready to go for extra canopy lighting )

Reflection: Panda Film

Ventilation: Ok This im struggling with im trying to find the cheapest but the best way to keep my room as cool as is needed. Ive found this kit on ebay so a bit of input would be nice on this.

i just finished a 2x4x4 thats 32cubic ft room with a 400hps got a suncourt 6in 250cfm(very quiet) intake and a 190 4in generic china fan off the net with carbon cost me 150usd (this ones loud) but i only run it when the lights on. i have the outtake pulling through cabon filter and cooltube to cool the light aswell as smell. my room stays the same as the outside room temps. can touch the light to all my plants without any problems
to answer your questions i would go with somthing similar. you plan on running 3x3x6 which is only 54cubic ft. id consider the same fans maybe get a quieter, mabye 6in outtake they all run over 200cfm just get the quietest fan you can always worth the extra bucks. to move the air i always put a circulating fan by intake to get fresh air around the room and one more on other side of room(just always keep all leaves movin you wana get fresh air)

as for strains you need to do some research on different grow patterns. i personally dont let my plants veg past7-10 days or 6-10inch. i do a sog and have had great results. i stuff 15 in 2g smart pots and get almost a gram per watt would do better if i pumped co2 the biggest rule of thumb for me is efficient light penetration after 2ft down most buds get less light so i dont bother(i dont want popcorn buds).

for you with 6ft height you want to start flowering with indica at 1/3 the finish height and for a sativa 1/4finish height just a basic rule to consider

Thanks for the reply and advice well this fans is 400+cfm which is why i choose it cause i was wondering if a 600w would overheat in this size area what you think?

I defo want to try Snow White or Super Lemon Haze as my first grow, and i want to LST for maximum canopy and maxium yields

Im just worried about heat atm i dont want to buy all the equipment then i have big trouble keeping the room cool

o you should be fine with that fan with a 600 just aircool the light to the out take and have it exit the opisite side of the grow box as the intake. make sure you have fresh air. and keep your outside room intake cool you should be fine. as for lst that is a great way to maximize canopy but you end up spending more time and money to veg out and fill room where as sog you stuff and flower it quick and short. depends on if you have a good reliable source of clones. with sog a havest with clones,electricity,dirt, nuts i spend 260 bucks where if i was to lst i would be spending about another 50-100 bucks just for the veg time. ive also had better production in cost per gram. up to you just some food for thought.

The Large Diamond Reflecter has not got vents on either side for ducting for cooling for the hood and light so id have to jst attach some ducting to the fan and hodl it up with hanging wire or chains to pin point the ducting to the lights. I just want to start simples first so a normal grow in soil without clones ro anything like that just until i get on my feet then ill think about clones and stuff like that for future grows . I was just curious how many plants could i get in that space using LST roughly?

I did notice after designing it the pre build standard wadrobe in the middle which is the one ill be buying is to deep for the corner units, this may cause problems witht he doors for corner units. So ill be pushing middle wardrobe right against the wall and the 2 corner units slightly away from the back wall so they all allign with each other and i have no problems with the doors.

id go buy a flange thats made for a reflector to attach ducting. usually like 10 bucks. mark bolt holes drill and cut 6in hole with tin snips or a holesaw. just grab one to pull outtake threw the reflector to help heat. its better than nothing. if you want it mor efficient get a piece of glass and hang an inch or less from the refletor this is an effective way aswell to aircool. can always add in time. as for your room it looks good. i would say rather than moving the room off the wall id move the door if possible. id put the hinges up against the wall and open one big door that would rest on the wall.( cut the door out of the wall leaving a boarder to reinsert the door with hinges) knowing the whole room would be better help on this.( i dont like leaving voided space to get dust build up). for your lst i wouldnt go over 10 plants(can add more next round if you got room). just make sure the canopy is close to the same to get even light distribution. with seed this is a little more difficult than clones to maintain an even canopy.(thats where you come in to pin down and around). im biast and dont care for lst so cant help you to much there. maybe someone else can chime in or start you homework threw the archives good luck
