did i mess my seed up?

well i got a aroura inica seed and i did the paper towel germintion method but after 4 days it was the only seed that didnt root, so i threw it in the soil any way( beer pong cups ) all of the other bag seeds rooted and were sprouting out of the soil after 2 days. i got preety impatiant and dug up the arura to find the seedling on the bottom of the cup! well i took it out filled it back up with soil and put it about 1 inch deep in the soil and powdered soil on top. will it still grow? or did i kill it? it is under a florecent 2700k tube and 2 23watt 5000k cfls.

A inch is to deep. I have had seeds take 6 days to germ. Lightly scratch it so the water can get in.. Good luck!

NO! these plants are tuff mothers. Just give it time because that seems to fix most problems either by it growing and getting better, or you learn what not to do.

give it a couple more days and only about a half an icnh in the dirt

1/2 inch! Keep it moist and warm. (thats what she said!!)

Like I said it's dust and even if it pops it will most certainly have severe defeciencies as it matures.

Never more than a 1/4 ' deep.

Weed is just that . a weed. It doesn't plan on its seeds NOT germinating. Seeds which don't germ get buried in the wild by debris and falling dust.
