i have been having some issues with powdery mildew. today i went to my local nursery, and bought some stuff called "safergro mildew cure". i guess it isnt so safe after all....i sprayed it at the recommended dosage (1.5 ounces per gallon) on my plants that have been flowering for 3 weeks. before the spray, my buds had a gagillion white hairs all over them, and they were very pretty looking. after the spray, the hairs....i dunno....like melted or something. now some of the hairs are turning brown and the buds dont look so great now. has anyone used this shit before? do hairs matter, or will they grow back? thanks all.

btw, the stuff is 100% OMRI organic, and the ingrediants are: cottonseed oil, corn oil, garlic oil, oleic acid, laric acid, sodium bicarbonate, and water.

please help.

Haven't used it myself but i can tell you that if it was mine i would do my best to spray them off with water and hope that they pull through.
If your having issues with powdery mildew use a better fan on your plants and put a couple of boxes of bicarbonate of soda in the room or get some disposable dehumidifiers and your probs will be gonebongsmilie

i heard spraying anything during flowering is gonna be a rough ride for the plants, but put up some pics and let us see.

no they don't matter unless you were planning on pollinating soon. New ones will grow back on the next buds. I doubt you'll have any problems.
I used Safer's Insecticidal Soap (spider mites) and it did the same thing to the hairs, I made sure the next time it didn't get on the buds and I rinsed it off before it dried.
I noticed my plants didn't smell at all after the hairs were all gone.

It shouldn't suffer any, I use organicide on my plants for both bugs and mold, it has worked for me and doesn't seem to hurt the plant any. But I wouldn't spray anything on them during the last 2 weeks unless I really had to.

dont worry so much about the hairs. its the thc trichomes you have to be worried about damaging. they are the tiny sparkely crystals that cover your buds, and you must take care never to damage them because they are what get you high. take a magnifying glass and look very carefully at the cola formations and you should see what im talking about. if you have a macro setting on your camera, take a good closeup of a few buds under bright light. sometimes trichomes are more visible after a good misting, but if you can post a pic of the buds while still dry, we can get a better look at your situation.

-best of luck.
