i topped this plant 3 days ago, i snipped the new shoot with scissors. it seems to be doing something but shouldn't it have recovered by now and continued growing?

also i should mention in this 3 day span i had to turn my light off for over 15 hours because i switched from a 4 lamp fixture to 8 and i had it on 24/7 previously.

thanks for any advice

yup,shouldn't be long.
I topped mine yesterday and already have new growth today.
It doesn't take long.
thanks guys i really appreciate that, this is my first grow!

so this is normal then? when should i expect the new growths to come up? because i thought i read it only takes 24 hours.

One more thing you should know, you don't have to use scissors to top, just bend the center growth and it should snap right off.
Just a little info to help you out.

Your good. It takes some time. Hormones are transferring from the plants top to the lower nodes/the lower branches. You should have had some lower branch growth after topping then about a week later tops will start goin again.
