it doesn't change anything... i still post for all. i just am trying to keep it accurate. the census is a device used to redistrict and gerrymandering is a corruption of that process.

Simple... or so I thought...

Oooh another blooming Einstein ... not.

post 110. Yours...

You made the same accusation earlier; that the census is used for gerrymandering. Where is your evidence? You weren't able to provide any reason at all before.

=============================================================
Post 111 Mine...

Read on....and be amazed. (evidence did follow, but I didn't post it here for brevity) reasons GIVEN

===============================================================

Post 114 Yours....

Amazed? I'm not even mildly impressed. The Republican congressmen merely make the accusation that the census is used for gerrymandering, just as you did earlier. They fail to provide a scrap of evidence to support their claims. They simply went on to explain how gerrymandering is a bad thing, which of course everyone knows.

=================================================================

and poof.... timeline exposed....

You CLEARLY are confused...not I.

You inferred that gerrymandering and the census were NOT connected (which should of course be COMMON knowledge)....

Then when I post the evidence.... you claim... everyone knows that!!

Then why make post 110? your squirming comes AFTER my answering your posit. of course.... so go ahead and act confused.... i don't think it is an act at all.
First of all, you still haven't posted any evidence. All you have provided is the accusation that the census is used for gerrymandering written by congressmen in an op-ed piece. They didn't give any evidence either, not a scrap.

I can't believe you are so confused over something so simple. I said that you have no evidence to support your claim that the census is used for gerrymandering. Later I said this:

They simply went on to explain how gerrymandering is a bad thing, which of course everyone knows.
It's very easy to read for anyone with a basic understanding of the English language. There's absolutely no contradiction at all. I'm saying that the authors of the piece explained that gerrymandering is a bad thing, "which of course everyone knows". It seems like you read it as "They explain how the census is used for gerrymandering, which of course everyone knows". There is a very big difference.

You mocked fdd2blk for supposedly not understanding basic civics, but it seems that you don't even have a fifth grade understanding of English. You mocked me earlier by saying "Stay in school kids", but you dodged the question I asked you in response. What university did you graduate from? For all your insults and talk about education I highly doubt you graduated from a respectable college, if you even attended one.

I don't feel I need to post evidence that the census is used to redraw political boundaries....if you got past the 5th grade...you should already know it.....want me to teach you algebra too?

you say that like it's out of some malicious intent.
it's just keeping districts current.
you seem all mad over the obvious.
the argument may as well be "Bannanas have PEELS, man. PEELS! you can't prove they don't! And the peel is there to keep the banana IN, man. And the people OUT!"

it's the same banana it's always been.
it's not a dangerous or scary banana.

The gerrymandering is the malicious intent.

There is absolutely no need for the govt. to know the details of your life. Only a head count is needed. But they WANT more so they can craft the political lines to their party...which increases their power.

Really... you said you were done with me...and yet.

I never said as much.

Would you like me to explain how the census is used for redistricting... again? I'll find you ur precious link even...since somehow that is considered internet evidence in stead of common knowledge.

If you don't know how it works...just ask.

and yet you still think somehow you can school me.

and i look bad? what is it you need so badly to prove, young man? you're just begging to be correct and agreed with. do you need a hug?

i'm not the home owner here. i have no idea what happened with the census. they sent three because we have three units here. we(the home owner) filled out "one-for-all", since we are all family. i guess the government owns me now. :sad:

you're my fucking hero dude. :clap::-P

I am on a thread talking about the census..... along comes "near' who doesn't think the census is used for gerrymandering. I CORRECT him politely...but am rebuffed.

Now I "assumed" you knew a thing or two about such things as redistricting and gerrymandering. But it seems you do not. that's fine...but don't sit there and tell me Im the problem...because I am informed and you and Near are not.

This thread is about the census....

so let's review for those who skipped skool.

the census is taken every ten years for political redistricting of political boundaries.... SOMETIMES this is corrupted by political parties and that is called gerrymandering.

The ONLY reason why the GOVT. wants to know more than a head count is to help them redraw political boundaries...

If you haven't a clue on how or why the census occurs....why are you posting... you & Near.

Make jokes...that's fine...even funny...I do it. But don't sit there and tell someone they don't know something when it is YOU who doesn't know...Near too.

Is that in the mod description? Not the way to go IMO.

Looks like you've abandoned your insane argument that I contradicted myself. Did you finally read it correctly after I explained it to you a dozen times?

You've claimed many times in this thread that you have posted evidence, now you admit you haven't but claim there's no need. That's what a contradiction is.

It's clear that this is just a matter of paranoia on your part. You have absolutely no evidence, just illogical fear.

legit evidence? How about you just take my word for it... or hit google.

I mean come on.... I can understand "Near" not knowing this...wet behind the ears and all...but you? You are going to sit/stand there and tell me you don't know the census is used for political redrawing of boundaries? :lol:

Honestly???

No, I'm not out of weed? :lol: Want a link or is my word good enough about that....
