Diesel Ryder 250w CFL Grow

Hey guys, so in about 2 weeks i am about to start a new Diesel Ryder grow and i was wondering whether you guys could answer some quick questions. I also attached pictures of my light setup below.

I have both a 6500 and 2700 250w feliz CFL light along with a bright wing reflector and 5 diesel ryder seeds. I plan on using fox farm nutrients.
Will i have enough space under the light for 5 seeds in pots of soil?
What will the approximate yield be per plant?

For vegging you will be ok for a while(depends how big they get)for flowering i would suggest more light.I use the same sort of lights you have for the top of my space,but thru flowering I add another 6x20w 2700k lights all around the plants.As for expected yeild,who knows?I grow 2-3 plants a time with the lights I use and normaly get 1.5-2oz of each plant,give or take.Hope this helps.

Thanks man, thats a good idea, i guess ill hang 3 20w 2700 on each side of the reflector.

What do you guys think about me buying some large pieces of poster board with tinfoil taped on and creating a box around the plants?

I would defo build some sort of space for your plants to be,you want to keep as much of the light that you have in and around them.but if your planning on flowering them in the same space make sure you have enough room for them to grow.And dont use foil,it gets too warm,just use white paper or paint,that will be fine

Alright i guess ill get some white poster board, i have about 1.5 meters of space for the entire grow. I checked out your grows chow it kinda got me excited because i am pretty much doing the same thing.

I'm trying to finish a 250 watt (actual not equiv.) CFL grow right now dude, day 60... Itll probably end something like day 65ish for the one plant (indica dom.), and like 80-85 for the other (sativa dom.)

I used like 218w in veg with 6500k's (8 CFL's) and 250w (2700k) (6 CFL's)

I'm subscribed ill drop back and link you to a journal when it's done

Yeah im definitely interested in seeing what kind of yield people get with same amount of CFL wattage i plan on using.

Im starting the grow in 6 days and I'm sooo pumped.

I fucked a lot of stuff up in the beginning.

Was giving them pH 8.2 water from seed to about 20 days into flower.

i have one fem diesel ryder 17 days old. havent seen pistils yet so i take that as a good sign
should show sex by the end of the week. once your grow starts up ill def be following to see how it goes

so have you started yet? germed your seeds?
mine is 22 days and has been flowering for 5 days now...
seemed the growth slowed down, i transplanted from its 32oz cup to 1 one gallon
while it did stop growing up, the pistils have gotten fatter and its a thick lil mini plant now

yo you might wanna just put your diesel ryder in its final pot from start because i heard autos do best like that

i just graduated from college so when i get back home im going 2 germ them in a few days

Sweet, will watch, I just started a diesel ryder grow as well with similar light setup except with a 200 w cfl, and 4 42w 2700k.

Good luck man, just keep the stress as minimal as possible, since they have such a short life cycle

I'm not running quite as much light but I'm curious to see how this goes. Right now I'm at about 160watts but when I see flowers I'll at least add another 42w maybe more if temp will allow it. Good luck!

252w 2700k CFL for flowering


1st is the main idica, the big one in the larger pot. The 2nd pic is the sativa I had in a smaller pot. 3rd pic is the box, indica on the left sativa on the right

Took 75 days for the indica and 80 for the sativa. (flower, I didn't pay much attention to the veg time as I was changing things and experimenting)

I assume the long flower time is from a pH problem from seed to 20 days flower.
