differance tastes between types of weed.

how do you tell one type of weed from another just by taste.what i mean is there a general taste/smell guide for the many types of weed that gives the basics to look out for.like haze smells/tastes...bla,bla,bla and kush smells/tastes...bla,bla,bla...and so on with all the other strain types ?

(smell,taste,high....not looks or hight ect).

The taste comes from the Terpins.. theres 161 to this day that scientist know of.. something in the 160 area...

greenhouseseeds uses this to get an even better view of tastes... ;)

but what i am really looking for is a basic way of describing the smell of a kush from a haze and so on.when i smoke i think yeah smells like and taste like weed.but i guy i know when he smokes...he like yeah this is really kushy tasting with under tones of thai....or what ever,depending on what it is he is smoking.

I usually use association, pine tree, sweet and spicy, etc. there's all sorts of 'tastes' but you can really use any sort of association to identify the flavor.

smoke some brick weed, .. then smoke some chronic. then ull see a huge difference.
but im with u on the fact its hard to tell the difference between good weed. sometimes i feel that ppl are just bull shitting lol

i was thinking more on the lines of this......kush = ?????? haze = ?????? hash = ?????? i know there is slight variable between even plants of the same type,and different phenos.but if some one smokes some weed and says its got a strong kush taste....what is kush ment to taste of in general ?

Kush = high grade of marijuana... The wacky backy smell that good smelling weed.. i dont know... its just good ?


Hash = musky smells.....



Haze = Is a type of strain .... like strawberry haze...

i understand your question and yes, different strains have know flavors. purple tastes like dirt and flowers. :weed:

smell plays the same role. :-P

Lemon G - smells citrusy, a hint of lemon but not an obvious lemon.

curing is important part of the taste/smell. if you get shit from a dealer thats in it for themoney odds are it wasnt cured as well as it could be.

Ok well kush in general will have a musky/woodsy/fruity/sugary/lemony/nutty-unsweetend choclatey smell these are all different types of kush i smoked that had these smells

i think out of all the strains of marijuana bubba kush has the best smelling and most distinctive smell of smoke

hard question, its like asking a baker what everyone of his different cookies taste like, there's tons of flavs, smell, and look, most seed bank have some basic info on the kind that your looking at, thats my best advice

I noticed when I smoke dank it usually falls into one of 4 categories. Earthy (Like dirt) piney, woody, and fruity. Then there is the shwag category, Tastes like shit.

i might not be putting it right....say if your smoking with a friend,that friend while smoking says..."this weed tastes real hashy"....or "kush like taste"

i know that there are lots of kinds of, say...hash strains which all have veriable tastes but is there an under line taste that makes all the different types of hash strains what they are.

Alot of it has to do with curing so unless u know it's been cured right u prolly are nt tasting the real taste
