Different mothers in same tub

Hi!

I know that keeping different strains in the same res is not a good idea because they each have their own preferences when it comes to nute strength. But are mothers this picky too? or can you keep several mothers in one dwc reservoir with the same nutes on all of them? Thanks alot for reading and maybe responding

I also have a ventilation question, i am thinking of doing a tent grow for my first grow, and im thinking of this blockbuster reflector with a 600 w lumatek digital ballast. I am just wondering how the ventilations is gonna work, either passive intake - to blockbuster reflector, to fan to carbon filter to out, OR fan, to carbon filter, to blockbuster reflector but with the glass taken off so i will use this to extract air from the cab - to out. + a passive intake open on the tent. wich solution is the best?

Stupid of me to ask this in the DWC part of the forum but just thought id shoot it since im already making a thread.

Supz EirikN. You're right...most prefer not to put different strains in the same tub because of their pickiness to certain things, but I have however done this. My 1st grow ever I actually had 4 different strains in 2 different totes and they turned out great. With DWC tho, the trick really is "Less equals more" so even on Veg you could go 1/2 strength nutes and be fine I would say. I havent had many issues with it, but I've only grown for a year as well so....I just try to keep my mothers the same size roughly so one doesnt kill off the other. When they get big enough you could just clone it down to size should the need rise. Vegging plants are similar to their needs whereas flowering each strain becomes more of an individual and certain requirements may need to be met

As far as the ventilation thing, what size tent you considering? I have a 3x3x6 tent with a 435cfm Valuline vortex fan and my temps stay around 77F with lights on and drop to around 68F when off. I rock the whole passive intake as well....if temps get a little hotter than I like I can just crack 1/2 my tent door open or somethin. Cool to hear that you have actually gotten great results with this, but the general opinion on the subject is that its a no no procedure to put different strains in the same tub even mothers? Maybe ill just get a few bubblebuckets for them instead, just would have been easier keeping them like that since im not a handyman and would buy the bubblebuckets complete and really isnt intrested in making some bubblebucket system with a res that will have a leak or something cus the lack of my skillset.

I am thinking of the 120 x 120 x 200 cm wich is the 3x3x6 in america i think? Haha cool we are going for the same tent Im rolling with homebox how about you? gonna check out your growlog after i post this! Happy growing to you too mane
