Dinafem OG Kush

Well, I guess I'm going to do another grow journal. I'm growing an OG Kush from DinaFem and there just doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info out there about it. I am hoping that this journal will find somebody who has grown it and can tell me about it. My last grow was a white lavender, which turned out pretty freaking awesome. Like the white lavender, the OG is a freebie. I can't believe how awesome the WL was being that it was a freebie. I hope I have as good of luck with this one. I'm really not sure how often I will update this journal. I guess it depends on how much conversation I get. If there's no interest I probably will not keep up with this. If there is, I will update at least once a week.

With the preliminary stuff out of the way, I guess I should tell you about my grow. As mentioned, I am growing a Dinafem OG Kush. I am also growing a lowryder 2 so I can get some smoke while I'm waiting for the OG to finish. My grow medium is Fox Farms Ocean Forest. I've now grown five plants, tomatoes, and hot peppers all from seed and I've had great results with FFOF. For my setup I have two tents. I've been running T5 lights for veg and flower on previous grows, but I've upgraded to a 400 watt HID system. Actually, my smaller tent will be my veg tent and will still be lit with my T5 fixture. On my last grow I used an 8-bulb T5 fixture with varying spectrum aquarium lights and I had really good results. There are a few threads on this forum about that. If you are interested I can point you in the right direction to find them. I actually can't wait to see the difference between the T5 and HID lights. I don't really know what else to tell you about, so I guess I'll just get to the pics. If you have any questions just ask. In my opinion there is no such thing as a stupid question. As always with my journals, pull up a chair and introduce yourself and come along for the ride. I always value feedback, and I would especially love to hear from someone who has grown this strain before. Well here are my girls, they are a week old...

I never have grown it, but it is a classic. I like the peat pot's. You hardly see anyone using them, which is a shame because they makes transplanting so much easier, and way better for the plants. Just pop them into a final pot, and away you go. Your lighting sounds perfect for your situation. Good luck my man, it seems you got it all figured out. Peace

Yeah man, that white lav was awesome. I got her as a freebie from the tude. I'd recommend it.

Thanks man. I'll update this journal a little later. I got busy and kinda forgot about it. I do like those jiffy pots. Super easy.

Okay cool man, thats whats up. But I hearing iffy things about those guys....Its cool though I give It a shot any way. Aint got nothing to lose in the long run.

I'd be interested to know what you're hearing. I've had good experiences with them, but I haven't ordered from there in a while. Wondering if something's changed?
