Dip and Roll?

I attempted making mushrooms about 12 years ago with minimal instructions from a friend and failed miserably. I've decided to give it another go, but this time I'm going to arm myself with as much knowledge as I can gather before I do it. I watched a few videos on Youtube and saw one guy using a dip and roll technique with his freshly birthed cakes. He claims better results if you use this technique. Just curious if anyone has used the dip and roll method and seen improved results or would I just be wasting my time adding this step?

Pf tek isn't all that bad I don't think especially for first timers..but "dunk n roll" didn't do much for my cakes but that might be because I had good rh and fae anyway..

of is silly and has only one redeaming feature, you don't need a cooker.
