Dirty Clay Pebbles

hi all just finished my first grow in my wilma and loved it
do i throw away the clay balls or can i wash them

id just buy new medium and throw the old stuff away

you can wash them.
Just get the roots out.
Maybe let em soak in some solution with water and h202.

You can washem, soak em, boil em...But they are on the cheap side of things, so replacement tends to be easier. I boiled my first batch (after soaking, after a grow), never ever again... A very smelly experience that lingered on forever...Thats just my .02

Damn, son. I wish I could throw away $800 worth of balls because they were dirty! You all must be rich or have little tiny systems.
You can throw them in a tub or rez, fill with water, add H2O2 to sanitize them. You can rinse them in a bucket with holes in it or a big net pot.

Just put them in a pillow case and throw them in some dilute bleach water to soak. Rinse the same way.
