oh hey, seeing as you're such a genius that you buy your medicine at petsmart, how many charged particles are there in r/o water and how many are in distilled? how many are positive and how many are negative? thanks genius!!!
with either the conductivity depends on how many minerals are left in the product water

yeah, that's why distilled is called DE_IONIZED water and r/o is not. soil works on charged ions, and he calls ME dumb,lol

Not all distilled is deionzed, depends on purity of the product water

Deionization filters are used after RO water processing to get deionized water.

Doing it this way is much less costly than steam distilling

Similarities and differences: deionized water vs distilled water vs reverse osmosis water
-> Deionized water vs distilled water – DI water is as pure as the distilled water or even purer;
-> Reverse osmosis water vs distilled water – RO water is more saturated with salts and oxygen than the distilled water and DI water;
-> Reverse osmosis and deionization are a more cost-effective than the distillation.

Distillation is used mainly in laboratories and factories, where it is needed. Reverse osmosis is widely used in water treatment plants, both at home and for manufacture of various drinks, bottled water, etc.

Distillation, RO and deionization processes are intended to purify the water of the contaminants: mercury, lead, strontium, nitrates, phosphates, manganese, as well pesticides.

Regardless of where you pulled this info, RO with a pump easily achieves < 5ppm (mine does). If one needs higher purity, then a DI filter can be added which removes ANY remaining minerals

But the real point here is either is great for making up the base water to which one adds the nutrients to achieve accurate salt levels as per the manufacturers recommendation

besides it being more expensive, it can cause problems, r/o doesn't usually cause those issues, so why even recommend it? if it wasn't an issue, there wouldn't be so much info and research done on it.

Since you guys are actually paying attention to this post, gonna pop in between this and ask if you guys put a light over your germinated seeds after theyve been put under soil? Im waiting for my seeds to pop up from the dirt its been about 2 days and they havent yet im starting to worry.

I put my seeds in a root riot in a tray, under light, when it pops up, it then goes into my medium.
seeds can take several days before they pop up. be patient
