District 9

gonna go see it tonight. anyone here seen it? is it any good?

I saw it in the theater and it was pretty good. I couldn't stand Wikus (main character) at first, but I loved him by the end

It was pretty amazing, gets a lot deeper than to expect at first view.

more like a big F%$@ you to hollywood. The movie is really a work of art, its kinda funny wikus is like Micheal Scott with a wife. and an alien arm

District 9 is by far one of the top 3 movies I have seen this year... And I watch a lot of movies...

The actor who played Wikus did an amazing job.. And I guess it was this guys first time ever acting.

Going to see Inglorious Bastards tomorrow. Doubt it will be as good as District 9, but we'll see.....

it's not, it's pretty annoying. mostly subtitles, it's like watching a book.

district 9 however was amazing. FYI, they made d9 instead of the halo movie.

they only had a 30m or so budget (which is why the halo movie wasnt made), but the special effects are AMAZING for 30m

this movie is fukin awesome i loved it. i told people from work to see it they came back and said they didnt like it and that its a love story. IT IS NO LOVE STORY its a great movie with a great sifi story i loved this movie.

dance flick didnt get alot of hype i watched it the other night and it was pretty damn funny.the youngest wayens brother is the lead actor Damian i was so glad to see a spoff movie about all the dumass dance movies coming out now adays.good movie

haha me to i couldnt stand him "have a sweetie" man i just wanted to punch that dude.but by the end i loved the guy

I haven't seen that, but I can't believe it was better than District 9. I can't take whats-his-name seriously, one of the main characters...the one who was in those dance movies...whatever, and marlon waynes...yeah...

just got back from seeing it, it was pretty badass, not exactly what i thought it was gonna be but it was awesome. the effects were fuckin great.

It was an AWESOME movie, I love it. The ending fucking sucked though. They better make another one soon. It's like they ran out of film and said fuck it.
I demand some fuckin closure.

Who's the guy saying inglorious basterds was no good because of the subtitles? half of district 9 was spoken in alien.....

It sucks that they didnt go ahead w/ the Halo movie... I HATE the game, but the "shorts" that they shot for the movie looked pretty sweet >
