Disussion threads

I was wondering, how long does a thread have to get before you quit reading it? I'm talking about just random bs threads that may be interesting, not grow journals n such.

I personally will not read more than 10-20 posts. if it's too crowded, i move on. even when i have something to say, it's just not worth the time to catch up on a thread that's more than a page or two of posts.

I usually read the first page, then scan over the middle section to get a feel for whats being said, then read the last page.
