DIY DWC system question

yes please.
I can see that happening maybe in sog but not with any amount of veg.
The hydroponic system I mentioned, wasn't made specifically for marijuana. It don't look like the grow sites are 15 inches apart, but the pipes are not directly over the tub. It could be scaled for any size plants. And cheap to build.

Sorry it took so long to upload these. FYI the tools in the pdf program have to be used then they have to be converted from psp to jpg before they will upload. The planters are made from 2 liter soda bottles. This would be great for dwarf autoflowering plants. I can't see anybody growing 11 white widows in it. But you can configure it the way you want to grow more or less.

Interesting idea for someone wanting to grow small plants for sure.

sorry to just jump in but if your curious on what "type" of DWC you should build. Go with the simple. Get a good quality air stone, and through it in the bottom of a five gallon bucket. take the lid and cit a whole in it and get a net pot. you are talking about a total of $25 bucks and that includes the Air pump which you can get from the pet store or wal-mart

And if temps in res are your concern a cheap fix is either CO2(dry ice) or Subculture-B. both are fairly in expensive for a short fix. but not a perm one.

That was my original plan...the problem is, I live in southern Spain and apparently there are no buckets with lids here. I can't even find a plastic tote that isn't see-thru. :/

Buy a Ice Chest ....then your reservoir temps will stay at desired temps.

I would go cooler if you live in spain. I would assume it is hot and humid there? and if that is the case then you wanna stay away from styrofoam just due to the fact it might sweat. you will spend time and money trying to figure out how to insult it

Also the flip top lid hinges can be cut so that you can remove the lid easily. the only hard part is going to be cutting the holes in the lid and getting net pot of about 6inches. If you can find a bucket lid, I dont know where the hell your gonna find a net pot.......:) :) You could make one......... but thats a whole nother thread:) :) good luck bro!!

haha yeah it's kind of ridiculous here. I started out wanting to do a dutch pot system but decided that finding a bucket with lid would be easier after looking 2 weeks for dutch pots. Apparently I was wrong. Best I could find were Mayo buckets (1gal aprox) without lids.. Ice chests are about €50 because of tourists and every storage tote within 50 miles of me is clear heh Just my luck eh?
