DIY intake air diffuser

Not sure if I'm the first one to do this, but I had an idea so I ran to Home Depot and slapped it together. Basically I run exaught and intake fans in my 3x3 tent scrog. I have had some trouble with PM so I thought maybe more even air flow from my intake fan might help. Basically it is a 3 inch piece of capped off PVC with a bunch of holes drilled in it to help spread the air around under the cannopy. Not sure if this will even help but couldn't hurt I guess. I'll list the supplies below, let me know what you think.

- 1 x 2' peice of 3" PVC
- 1 x 3" PVC cap
- 1 x 4" to 3" reducer
- some foil tape
- 1 x duct clamp

Tools:
Drill
1/2 " drill bit
Screwdriver

well the idea is good just make sure that you are not restricting airflow. measure the hole diameter and do the total area of all the holes they have to add up to larger than the exhaust fan. If you notice air restriction, add more and more holes. there are greenhouses who cool using a similar inflatable duct with holes in it

I don't believe is restricting at all, there is 28 1/2" holes, that should be > 4". I'm not 100 % on the math, but i installed it and I can tell it's definitely not restricting.
