DIY light suggestions?

Hello all, would like opinions on what would be the best alternative for this light i made. I currently have a 600watt hps/mh flowering 4 plants. However i just made another room for vegging so i can run a perpetual harvest. My new veg room is 4x4 and my flower 5x5. My 600 watt hps is air cooled not open winged. The light i just recently made is open winged and is quite big, i guess you could call it a dual light as i have 2 spare ballast i can wire to it. A 400 watt and a 1000 watt, would it be better to run the 1000 and 600 watt in flower or what all opinions are appreciated.

In flower with your power I would run a 600 watt HPS and a 400 watt MH. In a 5' X 5' space it will be all you can handle. To veg I would reverse the setup.
