DIY odor control

I' aware of the copious amounts of threads I could read on here and I have read quite a bit of them. That being said, I need any and all suggstions tips or advice on the best materials and plans for a 6 inch inline booster fan from terrabloom. Says around 240cfm but let' be honest, it' a booster fan. So I'm in need of expert advice.

Thanks in advance!!

I started out with one of those small inline booster fans and it couldn't cool my rather small (5 x 5 x 3) grow space using cfl's in the winter. I would take it back before you even unbox it and purchase a proper fan.

Well my grow space is 1.5x2ft and 4 ft tall and I'm using a QB so it should stay cooler rather than hotter

Maybe someone with QB can chime in on the heat issue I know that's probably my next purchase as they run so much cooler. You might not have much airflow if you hook up a carbon scrubber for your odor control.

I DIY as much as possible. I'm cheap like that. I built my own carbon filter from a 5 Gallon bucket. Drilled a few hundred holes on the outside, slid an 8" pipe through the lid with a few hundred holes drilled in it and wrapped the bucket and inserted pipe with filter fabric. I filled it with fish tank carbon pellets from the pet store, and I have to change the carbon pellets out once a year. Cheap filter that works perfectly, you can't smell anything outside of the room. I ratchet strapped it onto my 8' 745CFM fan, which is controlled by a voltage transformer for speed control. I usually run the fan at 25-50% speed.
