DIY with Quantum Boards

HI guys quick question on the hlg 320 2.1amp if we are running 6x vero29 Bs will it be too much for the drivers running at max output?

52v x 2.1 =109.2w x 3 = 327.6w total
That's nearly 8 watts over the rated watts of the driver

im only on second run, but yes, so far they dont show signs of over doing it. Im using soil/Kindsoil(supersoil) and follow those amounts, and in coco, i use the same.

82,83F daytime, 74F Nighttime, 55%hum, I mist every 4 hours, heavy mist before lights out,

I am having problems slightly with soil heat, warmer then id like.
Thanks! I'm quite intrigued by the whole LED/calmag question, and the differences I see in rate of application from grower to grower. There's such a wide spectrum. I know that the environment/climate plays a significant role in calmag uptake, but even when conditions are very similar, there can be huge disparities in calmag application. Of course I know the strain has so much to do with it... Very interesting stuff!

Cheers buddy
with a HLG-320h-2100, let me clarify.

sorry, i was only responding to your wattage question. I didn't see the amperage information. If you only have 1 driver you will not be able to fire up 6 vero 29 ver B cobs. Vero B are 52 FV (forward volts) and your driver only has 152 max volts output. So you only have half the volts you need if wiring in series. You could wire it half series and half parallel.

Make 2 group of 3 cobs wired in series, then wire the 2 groups in parallel. That would run your cobs at 1050ma with a FV of 50 v per cob. With a max wattage of 55 watts per cob. Note that will only work if everything is connected.

Thanks for the detailed response, will be using two drivers 3 cobs per driver.

that may or may not work. at 52 volts per cob you are 4 volts short on the driver. it will be close. let me know how it turns out

AWESOME!
Will the slates and other pieces start to become available or only the boards. Like this !!\
Actually if you order and they are sold out on amazon will this be a way to pay for them and be on back order till they get more in so we don't have to gamble on the drop times ?
Amazon prime boards for faster fulfillment. Currently some Qb288 3000K in pack of 2 and also be adding QB120 in pack of 4 boards in 3-4 weeks.
Heatsinks only on HLG website for now.
