can someone out there take a PAR reading or map the PPFD from the qb 288 or 304 ran at 500ma or even 700 ma ?
I pasted a copy of this saying 3.02μmoles/joule.
Would love to actually see what a meter is saying.

An extra 150g would pay for electricity clones and soil for the whole grow that's pretty worth it. Plus if I get a bigger space I just spread the lights out more win win.

At $5 a gram, that $750 will buy a lot of extra electricity. Just saying...
Haha it's not too much the plants can probably handle 50w/sq ft idk why people have bleaching problems I haven't had anyAnd if it's too much right now you can always dim them

Thanks for the recommendations. So soloution seems to definetly drop a biger oscillating fan in there for more air to move about and cool the actual room that its in. Is that correct ?

Quantums work well with " Others " .....
I put up a G8 Deep Red light ( 630-660nm ) as a supplemental to my QB rig -
I have 3500k spec and figure more red is good thing ... So if you got some old gear laying around you can shake it up a bit. G8 throws pretty intense red for what it is ... Especially when main rig is off ... It looks like a German whorehouse in there. ACHTUNG BABY !
Even though quantum doesn't need it ... I really didn't want to sell those G8 I got ...
Tangerine Dream had some fertilizer issues ( my fuck up / I fed twice *facepalm ) but she still trucking along ....

Imagine if you will a 60W or 120W full red bloom light ..... HMMMMMMMMMM

The more qbs the better can always dim them. what makes it really great is so many points of light over 2700 diodes is alot of points of light can see that making huge gains in lower canopy like im seeing but 9 at full blast would be insane to look at be like looking at the sun

pop out the black rubber plug labeled IO and use a #1 Phillips screwdriver
I don't really see a point in dimming unless temperature gets too high but even during the heat wave it only hit 90 for a few hours. Ya it's stupid bright! light makes it all the way through the canopy even before defoliation

So you keep your temps 80 to 85 during flower ? Do you find this has been working well for your harvests? Do you do this for veg and flower? I keep reading on other sites to keep the tent in the 70s

got home today after a 5 day little get away
found out my indica is a male, which looks really fucking good lol but oh well
my 3 ladies that i threw into the flower tent stretched a bit
the qbs are killing the flower tent
other 3 ladies have a few weeks left
and have 4 little ladies outside that are starting to bud

Just wanted to report back; I swapped out the pot this evening with one that measured out just over 100k, and we're up to 260W at the wall! Yeah science!

Really those temps are due to limited capacity to control. 2 cabinets in a hot shed. Window AC does what it can. So I try to follow VPD range and run overkill exhaust/oscillating fan.
My first harvest with QBs went great. Super dense buds curing, had to make room so got pulled atleast 3 weeks early. Dense all the way down, no popcorn. But i'm convinced heat and lack of experience makes low trich count. I'll dial in the strains I have to see, by then cooler temps will be on the horizon.

when you buy the QB kits from HLG is the driver, pre-set. or what is it at factory? can you turn it up?

I haven't tried to adjust it yet
Figured 780 watts should do it for a 5x5?
