Hi guys,

I have seen super slow growth under my hlg's and wondering if anyone can help. It's a new set up, so trying to get used to it. Not grown in just rockwool before.

Roots look nice n white in the bottom

Ph 5.2
Ec 1.1
Qbs at 1600ma
Distance 16 inches
Rh 60‰ ish
Watering every 4-5days

Growth is just way slower than I was expecting.

your ph is too low, aim for 5.8. And next time dont put the blocks on the slabs until after you have a decent root system. In fact i'd take the slabs off if you can. the rockwool slabs wicks away the moisture from the cubes where all the roots are. So you have a dry rootzone that gets watered too infrequently. Id guess the ph and EC are way off in the blocks from this combo.

So...
1. adjust ph to 5.8
2. take off slabs
3. start watering every 2-3 days (which will work nicely just watering the blocks with no slabs)

as the plants grow and the slabs become necessary you want to be watering at least once a day. Check out grodans website, they have good info there.

Thanks for tips. The nutes atami, say that they should be 5.2 - 5.5, but that did seem low to me. Will do a flush at 5.8.

As for the roots, I would say that 80% coverage on the bottom of the blocks before I put them on the slabs 3days ago.

I will see if they have rooted in, and remove if they havent

Quantum Bud Porn --------

Have a few girls finishing up in the last week or two . Under 3000k / 3500k .
All soil containers with Dr. Earth nutes / kelp solution .
Tap Water @6.5 ( 6.7 during flower )
12/12 cycle
Peat mix medium

GSG
Lamb's Bread
Honey Glue
KryptoKush

Since they were pretty much grown together the danky smells sort of pool together so I won't really know it's profile until each is cured up. I am anxious to try lambs bread since I heard its a strong Sativa. Honey Glue is the most trich heavy of the four.

Been waiting to get these cut so I can start a couple of more ... Maybe Lemon Venom or The Deputy ( Greenpoint seeds ).

Thanks @robincnn and @Stephenj37826 for your incredible products.

PH WAY too low5.6 should be the absolute minimum and I find keeping withing 6.0 - 6.2 be optimal you might want to raise the light a bit also

Did a flush at 5.8 2 days ago and they are starting to pray and look a lot healthier. Ec is at 0.8, so think that needs to come up too. Whereabouts would you expect it to b at this stage?

I'm using it for the exact reason that its an all in one nutrient, no playing mad scientist mixing 47 bottles of crap, feeding schedules to try to follow, its a damned plant, keep it simple! And I believe this company is another started by guys here on RIU.

And As I start my plants always in organic soil, I started feeding about week three, and will feed right till the day I chop.
Thanks Pop, just ordered free sample to try.

Yeah growerslight said this "We don't sell the potentiometers however you can use any 100k pot and and couple it with any 10k resistor. They can be found on Amazon."

Can you link me to exactly what I need to buy? I don't want to buy the wrong thing. Thanks in advance. This forum is awesome.
