DIY with Quantum Boards

As will I... I could have gotten it mixed up with something else...
Nope, I just checked and the 260w combo kit is free shipping within the US... But what I'm getting is not the combo kit, its the heatsink and qb288s... Im thinking that that is the reason why I have to pay shipping... Like I said before, I would drive to Westerville to pick them up if I could!!!

Bro all you new guys on this site do is make outrageous claims with nothing to back it up, you make these dumb charts up that mean nothing. Those lights are junk PCB board lights, oldest LED grow light tech on the market, if you want to see those things smashed up go watch @REALSTYLES break his mars hydro LED, that's the tech those lights use. Junk PCB board tech.
You know nothing about LED lights to compare an epistar light to Samsung chips. It is new tech as the lm301b is a new chip. Yodaweed a well known troll..

These are for micro grows, it's well documented on this thread from all the microgrowers that's what they are used for.

I stand by my original statement, these are not for medium to large scale ops , more for tiny closer growers that needs like 8 inches or closer because they have no grow space.

The tech is still laughable, over 1,000$ just to cover a 4x4, still no UV or IR in the spectrum...full spectrum my ass.

8 inches or closer?

Why did the HLG QB288`s cause the shrubbery to grow (fast) when they are hanging 3x times higher than 8 inches?

Mid power LEDs are becoming increasingly popular amongst licensed commercial growers on increasingly larger grows with fantastic results. The tech can be expensive, top of the line LEDs are not really intended as a budget option. There are plenty of non-LED options for people with shallow pockets. Having the ability to tweak your spectrum is great for those of us that are willing to put the time and money into the hobby

Wow you still don't know shit about led you have to run at super low current to be at 8" only a select few do that. Plenty of big ops use led they just don't post on forums because they have better shit to do. Big ops get tax incentives to use more effecient lighting the only reason to use hps in a legal grow situation is if your broke.

Problem is , the spectrum these LEDs have is pretty crappy, no UV, no IR...yea no thanks.

That's straight up wrong, almost all grow ops use DE HPS/MH combos around here, LEDs are laughed at by the dispensaries. I live in a legal grow situation and have been to MANY top grow ops in colorado, still only seen 1 using LEDs and they were a joke.

With you having a deep seated heavily ingrained hatred of modern tech efficient LED lights that don`t need diodes changed every 6 months
WTF are you doing in the "DIY with Quantum Boards" thread?

You may want to do some more research than the couple people you know. Colorado is a small part of the market now. This spot in Washington got a huge grant to try led. https:/www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2016/11/25/business/energy-environment/marijuana-legal-environment-lights.amp.html

The only thing holding the big ops back is the certification the cheaper led don't have proper certification to be used in large ops for a home grower led are cheaper than hps for the same ouput if you can do an easy diy. IR and UV aren't as important as you like to pretend having a full par spectrum is equally as important and led win as far as par spectrum. If UV was as important as you say it can be easily added but most people won't see a benefit. IR is just heat idk why you would even bring that up. I know you really want hps to be the best forever that's just not reality. $1000 isnt really that much if it will grow a few lb. most of these big ops your talking about could just go with a cheaper nutrient line and save enough to cover the cost of better lighting. Also some states are trying to set w/sqft limits on grow ops when those laws start to happen you will see all your friends go out of buisiness.
