I got the 135W Rspecs when they came out and finished my last harvest under them. They were under a V1 before. Harvested early, about day 55 from flip, very early about 50% orange hairs, i have mold, humidity issues though. Top bud harvest was 130G. Bottom buds estimate about another 30g. I think the 660nm addition wil help speed up flowering, creates much, much denser flowers compared to a V1.

I added 4 qb96 elites to my collection and I swear the flower time is faster. I have grown these Pink Kush for several runs of past and seem to be 60-65 days usually. These pics are a flower tester cut last night ( Day 45 ), a defoliation ( day 43 ) and the night before ( day42 ) . I have 2 timers so I turn the qb96e on first, 8 min later 7 QB288 come on. Lights out the 7 qb288 go out, wait 12 minutes later the qb96e go out. I have a feeling I will harvest 60 days or before.

Thank you for sharing. I have four V1's and was thinking about adding two Rspecs to get closer to 700+ watts. I sounds like adding a little red will help.

The 3500k are tough to get your hands on. Usually sold out. In 3000k or 4000k.
4 Qb132's to my door with shipping 147$ the 132s can go up to 75 watts without a heatsink. I wouldnt advise 75 each anyway.
I run mine on a 240w1750mA so a lil over 50w a board. The driver was around 60$ shipped w/ tariffs included. 5 or 10. I forget.
I liked em so much I got 2 sets of 4!!
Take the 3000k. The Samsung 3000K LEDs vegges something fiercely and performs the best of the bunch.

I think the rspec has more blue actually and they say that keeps things denser, and they say the 660 makes flowering faster. I thought we were trying to get away from blurple and pseudoscience but the overall efficiency and potential quality gains are worth it. I use 2x2s and im pretty much maxed out my harvests but i seem to be doing it a bit faster. My V2's look more blue than the V1's as well. I wish i had waited with my V1's to get the rspec's but i did save a lot on electric. I now run a 80W V1, a 120 V1, a 120 V2 and a 120 rspec. I had 2 120 V1's, then i got a 80W V2 and switched them around which is one thing i love about HLGs lights, the modularity. I think in theory doubling up your V1's is about equal or better than a V2, so buying one replacement and halving the current of another by combining two V1's would be like buying 2, efficiency wise. If you want to do it, go ahead, youre going to save in electricity.

Im doing something like this as soon as my rent and electric bill are paid... I thank you for your insight... Im still learning about these boards so anytime i have a question i come here and usually, such as this situation, before I even ask the question the answer is already here... Thank you all, you're all wise men and you all can help if you dont let your egos get in the way...

As the technology matures the improvements in efficiency begin to narrow simply because the possible range of improvement has been narrowed because the difference between current efficiency and maximum theoretical efficiency is now smaller.

They will eventually do monos correctly or plasma will improve in lifespan and reliability.
I'd say there is still a hell of a lot of gains to be made... In 5 years time, our current gear might feel like Epistars.

Still waiting to replace 3 a51 white and red/white discreet diode panels but still not quite there as they fill in fine with my COBs fixtures. Still clearly superior to HPS. Passive cooling will be required and appreciated though I’ve had no fan failures. They were getting noisy but that went away with a thorough open case vacuuming.

Havent weighed anything but i filled 5 jars, im gonna assume 6-7 ounces + the 1.5 oz from the first shitheads i pulled. Estimate About a half pound off 300w.

My findings for the last 3 strains/their best traits

Density/overall structure of bud: west coast sour diesel, big dense proper looking nugs.

Smell/taste: chem91, this shit fuckin stinks, smelliest stinkiest weed ive grown in 10 years, grown ir out twice now. Im a big fan. Tiny dense nugs but well worth it.

Mass/weight/cashcrop: lemonade og, this fuckin 1 plant filled 3 jars on its own. Nuff said. Smells great aswell, least dense, somewhat fluffy in comparison (frends growing the same cut have very similar results) overall id still give it a 7.5 outa 10. Solid plant.

Cheers!
Lemonade og in the back left, wcsd back right, chem91 infront

3 back are lemonade og, 1 jar each if the other 2.

Will post dry weight and full results soon.

These were grown with megacrop and 250-300w of hlg qb120s

@Stephenj37826

Can you give me an ETA on the 132's?

They were in stock this weekend and I didnt pull the trigger cause the guy I am building the light for was uncertain... now he wants me to proceed and they are out of stock lol. Looking for 3500 but would settle for 3000.

so what happened to the QB 304 and the QB 324???? I've been wanting 5 more QB 304 and now they are not even on the page! Same for the 324. I bought 4 with the plan to buy 5 more of them also to build 2 lights for vertical scrog. Now I'm stuck with QB 288s? I don't want to run 288s I want to stick with the 100V boards...... guess I need to sell the 324s

:(
