yeah man, they're really looking good. i kind of figured you were writing them off to soon, from the few grow rep/smoke rep. i've seen it's definitely lived up to the hype. the only reason i hesitate picking it up is because the lack of grow reports. i've heard rp/dna og's can be very finicky and low yielders(even though they claim the complete opposite) and that's not something i am looking for; hopefully this thread will answer all my questions.

okay cool. they're really look good too. they made a strong comeback, seems like a very resilient strain thus far.

Jb that sucks you went through a whole pack and found nothing worth keeping. sometimes it take more than a pack to find a keeper, that's why i like to double up as much as possible if the stock is available.

ive grown dna lemon skunk & purplewreck both were way above average & now i see there is a p/w og-18 cross available which catches my interest im not sure if thats accurate i didnt research it as ive got 2 strains sitting on the back burner [spacedawg & critical jack] waiting for their turn

u guys gotta realize something... R.P./DNA is gonna get good scores at cannabis cups and all... dont let the description from the breeder fool you. With that said, also pay attention to the lineage of this strain.... ITS JUST THE KOSHER KUSH, RE-BACKCROSSED INTO THE OG#18. which is stupid IMO because the #18 is what they used to breed out the Jew Gold clones in the first place. So the gene pool here is limited, especially since the kosher/jew gold is kinda of an OG mix in the first place. If someone isnt totally thrilled with this strain the first time they smoke it, THEY WONT EVER BE PLEASED WITH IT. I personally think if ur gonna go with R.P. or DNA i would stick to the NEW kush hybrids that they bred with their other strains. for example: the "stacked kush" sleestack is a VERY resin covered strain, great for hash. or perhaps the chocolope kush which is actually the kosher x chocolope. they even did the Cannalope kush too, 18 x cannaloupe haze.... all of those are likely to please more people than the holy grail IMO. just thought id throw that in here.... I HAVE YET TO SEE A GOOD REVIEW FOR HOLY GRAIL KUSH. i even almost bought it myself when it first came out, but quickly i changed my mind... the kosher line has hermie tendencies too btw.

Picture 002.jpgPicture 001.jpgthis still seems to be a finnicky strain to grow & light sensative im not the sharpest tool in the shed but ive done several grows in the last 3 years & this strain doesnt seem to like my method of growing & when the light goes out the leaves often droop when the 2 ace of spades in the same grow are upright & perky, just a little thing ive noticed here is pics of them in the droopy mode it used to get me trippin but now im used to it im gonna reserve judgement untill after harvest & how the next grow performs but it wont all be holy grail if the yield is low ill throw some aos back in too as its been good-2-me

could be the roots are getting water logged. i had the same issue and come to find out the pots wasn't properly draining the excess water, so i sit them in a bucket tilted on one side to drain all excess water. i feel you on the light sensitivity thing, got a few going that once the room hit 78 and higher the leaves start to taco and the plants start to look very unhappy. after this run i will more than likely put a mom to the side for winter season when the my temps get down to the 60's.
